The countdown to the 2015 Geneva Motor show in March begins now, as Aston Martin has teased a Vantage GT3 within a short video. It’s because this Vantage GT3 could actually be a road-going production vehicle if you’re wondering why you should value another Aston race car.in the Vantage GT3 being driven out on the track, the teaser sketch and the truth that the automaker is showing the car in Geneva could suggest it’s bringing something other than a race car. While the Vantage GT3 race car is available to customers who actually race, this particular one will likely be sold to regular folks — ones with lots of money, of course. Pistonheads reports that it Vantage GT3 could have more power, with less weight and a limited production run of just 100 units. What this new car packs under its hood remains a mystery, although the current GT3 racer’s 6.-liter V-12 produces over 600 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. Expect an enormous rear wing, front splitter, and flared wheel arches, as far as its design goes.versus the Porsche 911 GT3. Aston has been vocal about significantly revamping its lineup after former Nissan boss Andy Palmer stepped in as CEO. Future Aston cars we’re already looking forward to incorporate a successor on the DB9 rumored to debut in 2016 and a new SUV depending on the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class chassis. If the teaser does preview a road-going Vantage GT3, we’ll be getting excited about that too with the 2015 Geneva Motor Show this March.
