Ford Mustang Towed From One Ditch Slams Into Another Ditch Across The Road

Ford Mustang drivers have achieved worldwide fame for their antics and the person behind the wheel of a fifth-generation pony car makes no exception.

This driver managed to put his black Mustang into a ditch twice: first by the pony car’s own power and the second time by not pointing the wheels in the right direction while being towed out of the first ditch.

Apparently, the accident occurred on October 26, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee and was caught on camera by a dashcam. “The truck was trying to pull the Mustang out of the ditch but ultimately put it in another ditch, causing further damage to the car,” the cammer describes what he saw in the description of the video uploaded on YouTube by ViralHog.

The footage does not show how the Mk5 Mustang ended up in the ditch in the first place, though the damp asphalt with wet spots might give us a clue. Mind you, we do get to see the moment the Mustang is towed out of the ditch by a Ford pickup truck only to land in the ditch on the opposite side of the road.

Now, it would be easy to blame it all on the Mustang driver but if you take a closer look at the video you’ll realize there was no driver at all inside the pony car to steer it during the rescue operation. Yes, for some reason, these guys thought the Mustang would remain on the asphalt all by itself.

Add to that the fact that the truck pulled the Mk5 Mustang with a little too much gusto and you have the recipe for a failed rescue operation that inflicted additional damage on an already unfortunate pony car.
